So what is a Collective Cooperation Event?
This style of event is all about learning from each other in a relaxed atmosphere.  Your involvement can be whatever you feel comfortable with.  There will be food to keep your energy up, displays and demonstrations to get you talking, case studies to get you thinking, and maybe some new topics and ideas that you can adapt to move your business forward.  An altogether interesting event, and well worth a few hours of your time!
Starting at 17:30 we have
Registration and refreshments (Ploughman’s Supper)
Rapid Prototyping demonstration (runs throughout the evening)
Stands & displays; local businesses showing how they have innovated and improved
Informal networking
18:15 Welcome by Laura McHarrie of Business Link & David Akers, Principal of Budmouth College
18:30 Opening address by Phil Thomas of c4mbd; the Logic of Value Innovation
After supper Phil introduces and explores the four key questions that underpin the logic of Value Innovation.  This is the cornerstone of W. Chan Kim & Renee Mauborgne’s Blue Ocean Strategy.  Many companies take their industry conditions as given, Value Innovators don’t. Many companies are constrained by their current assets and capabilities, Value Innovators aren’t.  Many companies allow the competition to set industry benchmarks, Value Innovators won’t.
Let Phil’s passion for business improvement link your new strategy with successful implementation by your newly energised and engaged team; top floor to the shop floor!
19:00 first Breakout Session
Three influential local businesses have volunteered to share a case study on innovation and business improvement with the audience.  Delegates choose one from the three case studies to attend.
19:30 second Breakout Session
During the second session delegates have another opportunity to choose a case study to attend.
20:00 Resource Efficiency through Industrial Symbiosis; presented by Vishwa Wijedasa of NISP
During this session Vish will explain the opportunities to turn by-products into revenue generators instead of paying for waste disposal.  Alternatively another industry may have by-products which could be your raw materials?  Find out about Industrial Symbiosis and how NISP can help your business become more resource efficient.
20:30 Closing Remarks
Why is there a charge for the event?
A small charge is made for the event, which, after paying for your refreshments the remainder will be donated to Budmouth Technology College for the benefit of their pupils.
