A little bit about my past
As you can tell from my face that I originally came from China. In 2003, I came to UK to study MSc in e-business management in University of Warwick and then MPhil in Industry System Manufacturing and Management in Cambridge. After graduation, I joined a KTP programme (Knowledge Transfer Partnership) as Business Analyst and developed the interest in business process improvement and Lean Six Sigma. I have led and completed 9 improvement projects with over £750K annual savings in my first company in Suffolk area and joined DEK last Summer to seek for more challenge. Since then, I have been driving the implementation of Lean Six Sigma 3 year programme and leading some major improvement projects, i.e. Design Change Request process improvement, and delivering workshops. As part of Lean Six Sigma 3 year programme, I have developed the Lean Six Sigma Road Map with the team which we call ‘The DEK Way’ and delivering Yellow Belt training and other related workshops such as VSM (Value Stream Mapping). Although we just started the lean six sigma journey in DEK and full of challenges, I enjoy what I am doing and believe that by deploying Lean Six Sigma, we will improve effectiveness of business processes, improve product quality and therefore make more money!

I love walking and traveling. I have been to quite a few places in UK and abroad. I find it’s interesting to travel to different places / countries and taste different food, learn about their history and literature and meet different people.
