Position:
Director Business & Enterprise
What I do
I joined Budmouth College as Director of Business and Enterprise in 2008. In 2010 I was awarded a Sinnott Fellowship and I currently lead the development of a Centre of Excellence for Industry Liaison at Budmouth College.
My expertise
I develop visionary student cultures fuelled by the fusion of education and business and industry. This increases curriculum relevance in the process as part of the student experience that draws on an entrepreneurial approach to education.
A little bit about my past
I studied Art Conservation as a Leverhulme Scholar at the University of the Arts London – Camberwell College, from 1982 to 86 where I graduated with Distinction. Between 1986-88 I completed postgraduate conservation studies at the Clark Art Institute in Williamstown Mass USA as a J Paul Getty Scholar. Later I was appointed Course Director for Postgraduate Conservation Studies at Camberwell College followed by an independent practice Directorship for duration of 9 years. In 1998 I was elected Fellow of the International Institute of Conservation.
Life isn’t all about work; in my spare time I…
spend most of my time sailing where I am happiest!
