What I do
I encourage companies to look beyond their traditional physical and sector boundaries in the pursuit of creating a sustainable economy. I engage traditionally separate industries and other organisations in a network to foster innovative strategies for more sustainable resource use (including materials, energy, water, assets, expertise, logistics etc).
My expertise
I use my experience of waste recovery together with my research background to provide companies with guidance and information as to how they can meet the challenges of meeting tighter and tighter legislation on sustainability, recycling and waste disposal.
A little bit about my past
I graduated from Kingston University in 2002 with a first-class BEng. (Hons) degree in Aerospace Engineering I pursued a Masters by research (about waste minimisation) and a NVQ Level 4 in Management in my own time. I worked as a junior mechanical design engineer at Chess Systems Ltd in the South East, before undertaking a role as the project manager of a government-funded project. I also managed the 67K Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP), a collaboration between Petlon Polymers Ltd and the University of the West of England.
